Mumbai: The JITO Juhu Chapter is making grand and dedicated preparations for the upcoming Navkar Diwas, reflecting immense enthusiasm and commitment. The initiative aims to spread a strong message of spiritual awareness and unity within the Jain community.
So far, the chapter has finalized 140 locations, with a target of reaching 151 venues. Continuous efforts are underway to achieve this goal. Personal visits are being conducted across various derasars and sthaanaks from Jogeshwari to Bandra. Last year’s contributors have been thanked and re-invited, and the response from all locations has been highly positive and encouraging.
Navkar Diwas is now gaining recognition not only at the national level but also internationally. Chairman Kantibhai Mehta is actively promoting the initiative in the United States, Vice Chairman Anil Barmecha in Japan, and member Chhaya Jain in South Africa and Kenya.
In Kenya, Navkar Jaap events have already been confirmed at several locations, including Nakuru Jain Sangh, Mombasa Jain Sangh, Shree Visa Oshwal Community (Nairobi), and Thika Jain Sangh Derasar.
Meanwhile, in India, large-scale preparations are underway in cities like Pune, Lonavala, and Ahmedabad, with events planned at temples, offices, and community spaces, reflecting a well-organized and collective spiritual effort.
Following the finalization of venues, a widespread promotional campaign has been launched. This includes installing banners at derasars and key locations, conducting mobile awareness drives through cycling campaigns from Jogeshwari to Bandra, and promotional displays near schools and sports complexes. Social media platforms are also being effectively utilized to expand outreach.
With active participation from members across India and abroad, this initiative is evolving into a large-scale collective spiritual movement. The JITO Juhu Chapter continues to work tirelessly to ensure the grand success of Navkar Diwas.
